How can you guarantee the quality of your mattresses?
In short, our production company is entirely based in the United States and has complete quality control over all of the materials they use.
3Z Brands – who produces award-winning mattresses for companies like Helix Sleep, Birch, and more – produces our mattresses. They are a highly vertically integrated mattress manufacturer, meaning they operate their own manufacturing facilities in Arizona, Tennessee, and Oklahoma, overseeing the entire production process from raw materials to final packaging.
How are your prices so much lower than other mattress retailers?
We are a very small, dedicated staff who has been working within the mattress space for close to 30 years. That tenure has allowed us to partner with 3Z Brands. Instead of spending a lot of money crafting the perfect marketing message to sell you those mattresses at an exorbitant markup, we’re giving it to you at the lowest possible markup possible.
We also recognize that for a lot of people, just existing in today’s world is very expensive. We’re not just out to make a buck; we want to provide you the best deal that we possibly can. And that is exactly what we do.
Where are your mattresses made?
Our online shippable mattresses are all made by 3Z Brands based out of Glendale, Arizona.
Do you carry your mattresses in store?
Yes! We have an expanded selection in store, with the exception of the Dawn line of mattresses, which we only sell online. If you decide to stop in, make sure to tell us that you came from www.sleeponhorizon.com.
What’s your return policy?
60 days, full refund. We ask that you sleep on it for at least 30 of the 60 days. Read more.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free.
How long does shipping take?
Orders shipped via FedEx. Some mattresses are made to order and take 3-5 production days. Transit varies depending on your address. On average, you’ll receive your mattress in 2–5 business days (after production) within the contiguous U.S.
How does my mattress arrive? Is it really in a box?
Yes! Your mattress ships compressed and rolled up in a box — sometimes called “bed-in-a-box” style. Once you unbox it and lay it flat on your bed frame, it will expand to its full size within a few hours. We recommend giving it 24 hours to fully breathe before your first night’s sleep.
What do I need to set up my mattress?
You’ll need a bed frame or foundation with adequate support — slatted frames work great, but make sure the slats are no more than 4–5 inches apart to prevent sagging and protect your mattress. Box springs and platform beds also work well. Placing the mattress directly on the floor is fine temporarily but isn’t ideal long-term for airflow.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. All of our mattresses are covered by a 10-year non-prorated manufacturer’s warranty.
What if I don’t know which mattress is right for me?
Give us a call at (208) 552-7002 or shoot us an email. We’ve been in this business for close to 30 years and we’re happy to talk through your sleep style, firmness preferences, and budget to point you in the right direction — no sales pressure, just honest advice.
Do your mattresses contain fiberglass?
No. Instead of chemical fire retardants, our mattresses use a natural Ray on fiber barrier — a plant-derived material made from 100% regenerated cellulose, built right into a thin foam layer.
How long will my mattress last?
With proper support and normal use, our mattresses last (on average) between 7 to 10 years. Several factors affect this, including:
- How much weight is regularly on the mattress
- How often the mattress is rotated
- What kind of foundation is used
Can I use a mattress protector?
Absolutely — and we’d recommend it. A waterproof protector keeps your mattress clean, which matters if you ever want to use your return window. (Stains make a mattress ineligible for return, so a protector is cheap peace of mind.)
Do you ship everywhere in the U.S.?
Yes.
