Our Promise

Every mattress we sell is built to last. That’s why we back it with a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects — for as long as you own it.

What’s Covered

This warranty applies to mattresses purchased directly from Horizon Discount Mattress or through an authorized retail partner. It covers the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.

Covered Defects:

  • Visible body impressions or sagging that exceed 1.5 inches in depth, provided the mattress has been used on a proper, supportive foundation. To maintain warranty coverage, your mattress must be supported at all times by a compatible foundation or adjustable base with a bed frame strong enough to hold the combined weight of the mattress and foundation. Bed frames or bases with slats spaced more than 5.5 inches apart (or more than 9 inches apart for kids’ mattresses) are considered inadequate and will void this warranty.
  • Any foam or spring materials that split, crack, or physically break down despite being used normally and handled with reasonable care.
  • Any defect in how the mattress cover was stitched together or assembled at the time of manufacture.

How Replacement Works

Years 1–10: If a covered defect is confirmed, we will repair or replace your mattress at no charge to you.

Years 11–15: Replacement is available at 50% of the current retail price of the same model and size.

Years 16-20: Replacement is available at 60% of the current retail price of the same model and size.

Years 21+: Replacement is available at 75% of the current retail price of the same model and size.

Replacements will be the same model and size as your original purchase. If that model has been discontinued, we’ll replace it with the closest comparable mattress at our discretion. The warranty term on any replaced mattress carries over from your original purchase date.

What’s Not Covered

This warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal softening or changes in feel over time that don’t meet the 1.0″ sagging threshold
  • Damage from misuse, abuse, stains, burns, cuts, or liquid exposure
  • Mattresses used on an improper or unsupportive foundation (the mattress must be used on a firm, solid surface capable of supporting the full weight of the mattress and sleeper)
  • Mattresses that have been modified, dry-cleaned, or had their cover removed
  • Mattresses resold or transferred to a second owner
  • Damage from pets

Important: Removing the mattress cover voids this warranty.

How to Make a Claim

To start a warranty claim, contact our support team by calling us or emailing us at sales@sleeponhorizon.com with:

  1. Your original order number or proof of purchase
  2. Photos clearly showing the defect
  3. Photos of your current mattress foundation or bed frame

Legal Notes

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have additional rights that vary by state. This warranty excludes all implied warranties to the extent permitted by law. Horizon Discount Mattress’s liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement only.

Warranty effective for all mattresses purchased on or after 1/1/2026.
